As part of the ADDCIRCLES project, we aim to organize four international workshops on various topics covering innovative ICT tools and new didactical methods. So far, we have organized two workshops.
The first workshop was held on March 13, 2024, at FTPO in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia, titled “Future-Focused Blended Learning in Science and Engineering – Uncovering the Transformative Potential and Discovering Good Practices of Blended Learning in Science and Engineering Courses.” The main objective of this international workshop was to present research results and examples of good practice in blended learning methods, focusing on the flipped classroom approach and the use of innovative e-learning tools in science and technology courses. The event also served as a cross-border networking and motivational meeting, highlighting the potentials, challenges, and pitfalls of these methods and concepts.
The second workshop, titled “The Use of AI in Teaching from Two Different Perspectives – Students and Teachers,” was organized on October 8, 2024, at CUAS in Villach, Austria. The main objective of the workshop was to offer up-to-date insights on the use of AI in teaching from the perspectives of both teachers and students. They discussed the use of AI in the classroom on an equal footing and presented their unique experiences and perspectives.
The third workshop will take place at Wood K plus in St. Veit, Austria, focusing on new AI developments and tools to support the research activities of students. The date and agenda will be communicated soon.
