Polymer AM technologies:
- Fused filament fabrication (FFF)
No other polymer AM technologies in use. Specialisation in FFF processes with the integration of mechanical reinforcing elements (metal) to increase component strength.
Materials and characterisation
Materials:
Steel, stainless steel, aluminium (as integrated reinforcing elements in FDM components, e.g. sleeves, bolts, pins)
PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, PCTG, TPU, GreenTEC Pro
Testing equipment:
Post-processing equipment:
Drilling machine, box column drill, thread cutter, files, deburring tools, hot air gun, mini grinder (Dremel), cutter, countersinking tools
Quality certifications:
No formal certificates currently available. Quality assurance is carried out by manual inspection and optimised print parameters for consistent results.
Services
Development and optimisation of functional 3D-printed components using the FDM process, including hybrid solutions with integrated metal elements (steel, stainless steel, aluminum). Focus on mechanical reinforcement, suitability for everyday use and application in the safety-related area (e.g. mounts for cameras, building services, special assembly).
RG Tec offers the development and realisation of functional mounts, special casings and technical components using the FDM process. In addition, everyday objects, decorative items and application-specific individual pieces are manufactured – on request also in combination with electronic components (e.g. LEDs, switches, sensors). The focus here is on customer benefit, practicality and individual adaptation.
The focus is on developing robust, modular and easy-to-assemble designs for FDM printing. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of mechanical components (e.g. screw inserts, steel elements) to increase durability and functionality.

- Decorative items, everyday products, functional holders (e.g. for surveillance cameras), special housings for electronic devices
RG Tec offers the design and additive manufacturing of brackets, housings, functional components, decorative items and solutions for everyday use using the FDM process. The components are designed to meet specific needs, mechanically optimised and – if the application requires it – equipped with metallic reinforcing elements such as steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
The range of services includes one-off items, small series, rapid prototyping and the development of special technical solutions, also in conjunction with simple electronic components. The focus is on practicality, clear construction and customer-oriented implementation.
Misprints, supporting material and material residues are collected separately, sorted by type, and disposed of properly. The aim is to keep material losses as low as possible and to handle plastics responsibly.
Modern, energy-efficient 3D printing systems are used to minimise power consumption. Production is demand-driven, avoiding unnecessary printing and idle time.
Preference is given to high-quality and more sustainable filaments, such as those from Extrudr, which are produced in accordance with ecological standards. The parts are designed to be stable and functional, with the aim of achieving a long service life. Packaging materials are reused wherever possible. In addition, production is local and in small quantities to conserve resources and minimise transport distances.
