About the Online Course

In an exciting new initiative, the consortium is developing a high-quality online course in Moodle on Green Additive Manufacturing (AM). This course, available in German and Slovene, aims to provide a basic understanding of Green AM technologies and their applications. It will be freely accessible and beneficial for various target groups, including teachers in secondary and vocational schools, trainers for SMEs, startups and apprentices, as well as lecturers in higher education teaching AM basics. The course will promote the understanding of different AM technologies, with an emphasis on design, operation of 3D printers, benefits, limitations, and challenges.   The course will give you a chance to choose your learning path, simple or advanced, depending on your knowledge. Each path will cover three modules, with the advanced one having two additional ones. The modules will cover the content with the help of innovative didactical methods, flipped classroom approach, interactive methods, as well as videos, quizzes, and evaluations.  This freely available course will serve as valuable teaching material in schools and for home users, supporting the adoption of AM technology. It aligns with the EU’s goal of encouraging young generations to pursue STEAM professions.
