IMR supports its business partners in the area of analysis of metals and alloys, particularly of metal powders manufactured by IMR but also third-party powders. IMR is open for assessment of recycling strategies for metal waste generated in AM processes, inlcuding but not limited to non-useable powders, particularly of Aluminium-based alloys.
Material recycling capabilities
Metal powders, particularly from Aluminium alloys, could possibly be taken back from customers for recycling and secondary use applications.
Metal waste (e.g. out-of-spec printed parts, support structures) can be evaluated together with business partners if they could be recycled.
